La Liga giants Real Madrid have this weekend been credited with an interest in the signature of a member of the midfield ranks at Chelsea.
The info comes courtesy of Caught Offside, and points towards Enzo Fernández as the player in question.
Real, it is claimed, are on the lookout for reinforcements in the middle of the park with a view to the 2025/26 campaign.
This comes with Luka Modrić set to turn 40 later this year.
A whole host of options from across the continent are being taken into consideration on the part of the Blancos brass, with one such player, as alluded to above, coming in the form of Enzo Fernández.
As per Caught Offside, whilst Chelsea would ideally like to keep hold of Enzo, an offer in the region of €80 million could see the Blues tempted into a sale.
It now remains to be seen if Real Madrid would be willing to cough up such a significant sum.
