An affectionate nickname afforded to Real Madrid star Brahim Díaz by a former teammate has today been revealed.
This comes owing to the Moroccan’s display in Real’s Champions League showdown with Atalanta.
Los Blancos are of course fresh off an important victory on Tuesday, which saw them bring an end to high-flying Serie A outfit Atalanta’s nine-game win streak, courtesy of a 3-2 triumph.
Attacker Brahim, for his part, featured from the off in the clash, and went on to thoroughly justify his inclusion over the course of the 90 minutes.
Superb link-up play, highly effective dribbling and an assist marked the highlights of a fine individual showing for the 25-year-old.
And such efforts, as alluded to above, saw Brahim come in for some altogether deserved praise on social media post-match.
Taking to the comments section of his ex-teammate’s latest Instagam post, Joselu likened Brahim to global icon Diego Maradona, courtesy of the affectionate nickname:
‘Brahimaradona’
