An up-and-coming member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has suffered an injury blow.
That’s according to Marca, who point towards Jeremy de León as the player in question.
The name of winger De León of course became an altogether familiar one to those of a Real Madrid persuasion over the 2nd half of last season.
This came after the Puerto Rican international became known as something of a ‘lucky charm’, after training and travelling with Carlo Ancelotti’s squad for road trips in the Champions League.
The 20-year-old has since gone on to link back up with Raúl’s Castilla outfit, but, early in the campaign, has been dealt a blow.
As per a report from the aforementioned Marca:
‘Jeremy de León suffered a severe sprain in his left ankle during Real Madrid’s morning training session on Monday.’
The issue, which came about owing to a challenge with Jacobo Ramón, is expected to keep De León sidelined for around a month.
