Real Madrid star to miss 3 of the club’s next 4 games

La Liga giants Real Madrid are set to be without a leading member of the club’s midfield in three of their next four outings across all competitions.

This comes owing to developments in the club’s meeting with Manchester City.

Real are of course fresh off booking their spot in the Last-16 of the Champions League, courtesy of a 3-1 downing of Pep Guardiola’s City.

En route to as much, however, Los Blancos were dealt a considerable blow on the personnel front.

As much came during the first-half in Spain’s capital, upon Jude Bellingham picking up his latest yellow card.

Owing to an accumulation of bookings, the England international is now facing up to a one-match European ban, to be served in the first leg of Real Madrid’s Champions League Last-16 tie.

Fresh off being sanctioned with a two-game La Liga ban earlier in the day, this means that Bellingham will play no part in three of Los Merengues’ next four fixtures.

The 21-year-old will first sit out against Girona, before returning for a Copa del Rey meeting with Real Sociedad.

From here, Bellingham will also be unavailable against Real Betis in La Liga, and either Atlético Madrid or Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League.
