A leading member of the attacking ranks at Real Madrid has on Friday been named La Liga Player of the Month.
The Blancos star in question? Vinícius Jr.
Wide-man Vinícius for his part took to the pitch in Spain’s top-flight on a pair of occasions this month.
And, in both, the Brazilian international played a leading role in Carlo Ancelotti’s troops ultimately emerging on the right side of the result.
First, en route to a 4-0 drubbing of Osasuna, Vinícius proved himself the star of the show, courtesy of a brilliant hat-trick.
Then, last weekend, the 24-year-old laid on Real’s opener in a 3-0 downing of capital rivals Leganés.
Vinícius has since been condemned to a spell on the sidelines, owing to a hamstring injury.
But, as alluded to above, this has not stopped the explosive attacker from securing yet another piece of individual silverware.
As revealed across social media on Friday evening, Vinícius has beaten out stiff competition from Dani Olmo, Takefusa Kubo and more, to secure the La Liga Player of the Month award:
