Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has moved to send a message to all those to have called his talents into doubt over the early months of the campaign.
Mbappé has for his part of course taken his place front and centre in the headlines in Spain’s capital over recent weeks.
This comes as the summer arrival in La Liga continues to struggle in efforts to rediscover his brilliant best in the colours of Real Madrid.
Mbappé has come in for widespread criticism on the part of the Blancos faithful and neutrals alike, which is evidently beginning to take its toll on his confidence.
Speaking in an interview with Canal+ this week, the 25-year-old therefore made use of the opportunity to send a message of defiance to all in the football community.
Adamant that he will ultimately prove himself a success in Madrid, Mbappé explained:
“I’m very happy with this new chapter. I want to win and this is the right place. I’m sure I will succeed at Real Madrid.”
