A leading member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is continuing to play through the pain on the pitch at present.
That’s according to Relevo, who point towards Aurélien Tchouaméni as the player in question.
Frenchman Aurélien Tchouaméni of course recently returned from a spell on the sidelines, with an ankle injury.
Since, the former AS Monaco man has been afforded successive starts, one in midfield against Athletic Club, and then in defence over the weekend versus Girona.
Tchouaméni, though, has done so whilst feeling far from full fitness.
That’s according to Relevo, who have confirmed:
‘Tchouaméni has been suffering from persistent discomfort in his left foot since the end of last season which has forced him to get used to living with the pain.’
A regular target of heavy criticism across the season to date, those of a Blancos persuasion should perhaps take as much into account the next time Tchouaméni’s performance leaves something to be desired…
