Real Madrid star involved in ‘heated argument’ with teammate during training

A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid was recently involved in a serious altercation with a Blancos teammate at the club’s training ground.

The stopper in question? Antonio Rüdiger.

The incident in question, it is understood, took place at Valdebebas in April, and saw the German’s infamous temper get the better of him once more.

As per a report from The Athletic:

‘Antonio Rüdiger was involved in a heated argument with another first-team player in the dressing rooms at Real Madrid’s training ground in April.’

It is added that the former Chelsea man was the instigator in the back-and-forth.

Rüdiger later apologised to the teammate in question, as well as the rest of Álvaro Arbeloa’s squad, for his outburst.

The 33-year-old, in a further show of good faith, then invited his teammates and their families out for an organised lunch late last week.
