Real Madrid star continues historic streak with start vs Mallorca

A headline member of the midfield ranks at Real Madrid is set to keep alive the most remarkable of individual feats, in the club’s latest outing on Saturday.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops will of course mark their return to action in short order.

Sandwiched between a pair of Champions League quarter-final meetings with Manchester City, Real have turned their attentions back towards matters on the domestic front, in a La Liga meting with RCD Mallorca.

An eventual victory would see Los Blancos take another step towards reclaiming their Spanish top-flight crown, ahead of next weekend’s crunch Clásico showdown with Barcelona.

In turn, it should not come as a massive surprise to hear that Carlo Ancelotti has named a strong XI at Son Moix.

Alongside a number of less-seen options, the likes of Antonio Rüdiger, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Jude Bellingham and Federico Valverde will all be in from the off on Saturday evening:

And, in the process, one of this quartet will maintain an incredible feat.

The player in question? Fede Valverde.

Why? His start against Mallorca means that the Uruguayan international will have featured in every single one of Real Madrid’s 44 fixtures across the season to date.
