Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has on Friday seen his ongoing excellence on the creative front recognised.
This comes amid confirmation that the England international has been named The Best Playmaker of 2024 by IFFHS.
The Playmaker prize is handed out on an annual basis by the The International Federation of Football History & Statistics, to reward the game’s standout creator.
The final rankings take into account everything from assists to chances created, which ultimately culminate in a points tally for those up for the prize.
And, this time round, it is Bellingham who has beaten out the competition.
As confirmed on Friday evening, the Real Madrid talent, after a standout first season in Spain, has accrued a total of 133 Playmaker points.
This dwarves the tally of Kevin De Bruyne in 2nd (96), as well as those racked up by the likes of Toni Kroos and Lionel Messi further down the list.
