A leading member of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has agreed to the terms of a new contract with the club.
That’s according to journalist Matteo Moretto, who points towards Thibaut Courtois as the player in question.
Goalkeeper Courtois is for his part fresh off another season which saw the Belgian play a starring role in Spain’s capital.
All told, across all competitions, including the Club World Cup, Courtois racked up a hefty 53 appearances.
Continuing to act as a consistent source of excellence between the posts for Los Blancos, the former Chelsea man, in turn, recently opened talks with the Santiago Bernabéu brass over a contract extension.
And as alluded to above, late this week, as much has culminated in the two parties reaching a definitive agreement.
