Real Madrid eye Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies

Real Madrid are interested in making a move for Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies, report Marca.

The 21-year old was struggling with a heart condition last season and he wasn’t able to play at the beginning of this year. However, this season he has established himself as Bayern Munich’s first-choice right-back.

It is believed that Los Blancos are keen to sign Davies as he could prove to be Nacho Fernández’s long-term replacement.

The Canadian international will not come cheap as he is contracted with the Bavarian outfit until June 2025. He is expected to travel to Qatar for the World Cup, which could raise his €70m Transfermarkt valuation even more.

Davies arrived to Bayern Munich in 2018 from the Vancouver Whitecaps and has made 127 appearances and scored five goals in all competitions for the club.

He was part of the Bayern Munich side that won the Champions League title in 2020.
