Real Madrid sensation views Arda Güler precedent as key reason to seek out exit

A headline member of the youth ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is readying a concerted push to depart the club this summer.

That’s according to Diario AS, who point towards Real sensation Paulo Iago’s patience as having worn out.

Iago, for his part, is a 16-year-old midfielder, currently plying his trade with Real Madrid’s Juvenil A outfit.

The Spanish starlet has long been considered one of the standout talents in Los Blancos’ academy, tipped for a bright future with the club’s first-team down the line.

In turn, it will no doubt come as a source of concern for all associated with Real to hear that Iago is growing increasingly unhappy with his situation in Spain’s capital.

The youngster feels as though promises have been broken when it comes to his role with the Juvenil A squad, with manager Álvaro Arbeloa having insisted on overlooking him when faced with high-profile fixtures.

The wonderfully-gifted left-footer has for some time been keeping an eye on the struggles being endured by Arda Güler since his arrival at the Santiago Bernabéu last summer, too.

With Iago, for his part, playing in a similar position, and just a few years younger than the Turk, he views the path to first-team minutes down the line as being an ‘almost impossible’ one to navigate.

As per the aforementioned AS, as a result:

‘Paulo and his entourage are increasingly clear that his future is far from Madrid, and have begun looking for the exit door.’
