Real Madrid send request to Leny Yoro to aid summer move from Lille

La Liga giants Real Madrid have informed LOSC Lille starlet Leny Yoro of precisely what he needs to do, to increase his chances of sealing a move to Spain’s capital in the summer.

The name of defender Yoro has of course found its place front and centre in the headlines in Madrid for several months now.

This comes amid the widespread understanding that the 18-year-old – widely considered to be one of the standout young talents in his home country of France – has been identified as a prime target on the part of the powers that be at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Florentino Pérez and co, in turn, have already begun work towards a summer deal.

And, as alluded to above, on Wednesday, an insight into such efforts on Real’s part has been forthcoming online.

The info comes by way of Marca’s José Félix Díaz, who has revealed that Los Blancos are keen to take advantage of Yoro’s expiring terms with Lille.

The stopper’s current deal at The Stade Pierre-Mauroy is due to come to an end in the summer of 2025.

Real Madrid, in turn, have asked Yoro and his representatives not to engage in negotiations over a renewal beyond next year.

The hope is that as much will see Lille left with little choice but to lower their €60 million demands, opening the door for a summer transfer.
