Real Madrid see €100m transfer offer rejected

La Liga giants Real Madrid have seen a massive transfer offer knocked back this week. This comes amid confirmation that Los Blancos have set their sights on the signature of RB Leipzig talent Yan Diomandé.

Youngster Diomandé is for his part widely expected to be on the move before the summer is out.

After something of a breakout campaign on the books of the aforementioned Leipzig in 2025/26, a whole host of European football’s leading clubs have set their sights on the signature of the Ivorian.

And as alluded to above, joining the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain in the Diomandé sweepstakes this week were none other than Real Madrid.

As per a report from transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, amid an ongoing search for reinforcements in the final third, the Bernabéu brass have earmarked the 19-year-old as a legitimate option.

So much so that Los Merengues recently tabled an offer worth a total of €100 million for his services.

The proposal in question was rebuffed by the board at the Red Bull Arena, but Real are expected to return with an improved bid over the days ahead.
