Real Madrid receive two fresh proposals for Arda Güler ahead of January

La Liga giants Real Madrid recently knocked back a fresh pair of proposals for the loan signing of youngster Arda Güler.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who has on Tuesday provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Spain’s capital.

Midfielder Güler, for his part, is of course in the midst of something of a hit-and-miss opening to the new campaign.

Though he has enjoyed an uptick in game-time compared to his debut season, the 19-year-old is still evidently some way down the pecking order when it comes to the first-choice options of manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Murmurs, in turn, have long spread in the media that Güler could be on the move in January, in a bid to secure more regular playing time.

If the latest word doing the rounds on Tuesday is anything to go by, however, then this will not prove the case, under any circumstances.

As revealed by Fabrizio Romano, two clubs from outside Spain recently made contact with the Real Madrid brass, over the possibility of bringing Güler in on loan this winter.

The response, however, was unwavering: The Turk will be going nowhere, be it in January, next summer, on loan or a permanent basis.

His future lies in Madrid.
