Real Madrid ready to sell Martin Ødegaard to Arsenal

Martin Ødegaard could be on his way back to Arsenal, according to AS.

The Norwegian has given the go-ahead to the deal after feeling disappointed during pre-season under Carlo Ancelotti.

Madrid and the Gunners have moved closer in the last few hours and all parties believe that the deal will be completed soon. If things go as planned, the fee is expected to be in the region of €50 million.

Ancelotti’s preferred system is a 4-3-3 and the 22-year-old does not benefit from it. Casemiro, Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Fede Valverde are ahead of him in the Italian’s plans for the new season.
