A major development in the long-running Kylian Mbappé to Real Madrid transfer saga has been forthcoming.
And the news will no doubt be met with widespread excitement on the part of those of a Real persuasion.
As per a report from French journalist Santi Aouna of Foot Mercato and more, the powers that be in Spain’s capital have at long last found a definitive agreement with Mbappé over a move to the club.
The two parties are widely understood to have resumed discussions over the course of the last week, with a view to a free transfer in the summer.
This of course comes two years on from the French international going back on his word to link up with Real, in favour of putting pen to paper on fresh terms with Paris Saint-Germain.
This time round, though, Los Blancos have seemingly done enough to push a deal over the line.
In turn, it is assured that Mbappé ‘will join Real next season’, upon the expiration of his contract at the Parc des Princes.
