A trip to Son Moix is in store, to take on a Mallorca outfit fresh off suffering heartbreak in last weekend’s Copa del Rey final.
Sandwiched between the two legs of Real’s Champions League quarter-final tie with Manchester City, rotation is widely expected on the part of Ancelotti and his coaching staff.
This comes with Los Blancos’ European campaign on the line next Wednesday at The Etihad.
Amid their ongoing pursuit of glory in La Liga, too, though, those behind the scenes in Spain’s capital are evidently keen not to reduce their options too heavily at Son Moix.
In turn, a strong squad of stars has been named, featuring all but long-term injury absentees Thibaut Courtois, and David Alaba.
