Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid, and Manchester United are among the clubs interested in signing Real Valladolid central defender Mohammed Salisu in the summer, according to Diario AS.
The 20-year-old has attracted attention from numerous big clubs around Europe after a good run of form for the Primera side. Salisu’s agent is the father of United player Juan Mata and representatives at Old Trafford have been alerted to his €12m release clause.
Valencia and Getafe are also reported to have shown interest in the past. Los Blancos are confident of striking a deal due to the relationship between club president Florentino Pérez and Ronaldo Nazario, owner of Valladolid.
The defender signed a new contract at Valladolid in May, which runs until 2022.
