Real Madrid midfield star spotted back in training after a month on the sidelines

While the narrative surrounding injuries this season has been revolving mostly around Barcelona, Real Madrid hasn’t gotten off lightly either, with a few of their stars already having spent time watching from the sidelines.

However, Los Blancos have received somewhat of a boost in recent days, as one of their most versatile midfield stars has returned to training on Thursday.

The man in question is Eduardo Camavinga, who was spotted training with the group for the first time since he was injured prior to the UEFA Super Cup tie against Atalanta last month.

This news comes courtesy of Cadena SER, who reports that a decision will be made ahead of Sunday’s match against Atlético Madrid with regard to whether he can take any part in the match.

Camavinga was a big miss for Real Madrid during his absence, as despite not being a guaranteed starter, the Frenchman’s versatility saw him used widely last season, and will be even more important this season with rising fixture congestion.
