La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week been credited with an interest in the services of another Bundesliga midfielder.
The latest Germany-based star linked with a move to Spain’s capital? Hugo Larsson.
Youngster Larsson, for his part, enjoyed something of a breakout campaign on the books of Eintracht Frankfurt in 2024/25.
Establishing himself as one of the first names on the team sheet at Deutsche Bank Park, the 20-year-old has shone on both sides of the ball.
On his way to a haul of six goals and two assists in 47 appearances across all competitions, Larsson has excelled with all of his passing, ball-carrying, and defensive nous.
So much so that, as alluded to above, the Swedish international has piqued the attentions of one of Europe’s top clubs.
As per a report from Marca, amid their ongoing search for reinforcements in the middle of the park with a view to next season, Real Madrid have set their sights on Larsson.
The Eintracht talent is one of a number of options being considered, having impressed scouts from the Santiago Bernabéu with his performances during a string of recent fixtures.
