Club legend urges Real Madrid to move for Sergio Ramos amid injury crisis

La Liga champions Real Madrid have today been advised to launch an assault on the signature of club legend Sergio Ramos.

This comes after Los Blancos were dealt another heavy blow on the personnel front.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are fresh off securing a return to winning ways this afternoon, Vinícius Jr. on target to the tune of a hat-trick in a 4-0 drubbing of Osasuna.

En route to as much, however, Real were also dealt a major injury setback.

This came as key defender Éder Militão was stretchered out of proceedings in evident distress, with what has since been confirmed as his 2nd ACL rupture in the space of a little over a year.

With David Alaba and Joan Martínez having been joined on the sidelines by emergency options Dani Carvajal and Aurélien Tchouaméni, Real Madrid, all of a sudden, find themselves in nothing short of a crisis when it comes to options at centre-half.

Speaking to the media in the aftermath of today’s clash, Blancos legend Guti therefore afforded some advice to his former employers.

In quotes gathered by DAZN, Guti pointed Florentino Pérez and co. in the direction of another club icon, namely Sergio Ramos, currently unattached following the expiration of his contract with Sevilla this past summer:

“Sergio Ramos is without a club. In this current situation, I see him as an option.”
