Real Madrid injury update: Jude Bellingham, Arda Güler, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Vinícius & more

Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has this afternoon provided updates on the fitness levels of a whole host of key members of his squad.

Ancelotti, of course, is currently putting his players through their final paces, ahead of a return to action on Saturday.

Amid an ongoing effort to stave off the challenge of the likes of Girona and Barcelona in the race for La Liga supremacy, Los Blancos will make the trip to the Estadio Benito Villamarín, for a showdown with Real Betis.

Speaking to the media in anticipation of the clash, as cited by AS, Real’s headmaster was therefore asked for the latest injury news from Valdedebas.

The capital heavyweights have been absolutely ravaged by fitness problems of late, with every area from goalkeeper through to the club’s frontline having been affected.

In turn, it will come as a timely boost for all associated with Real to hear that several such stars are closing on respective returns to the pitch.

Below, check out Carlo Ancelotti’s latest updates on Arda Güler, Eduardo Camavinga, and more:

Jude Bellingham

“He has done individual work, his ankle should recover well. The shoulder is a problem that has to be taken care of, doing specific work. He has had no problem playing, with each passing day he will improve.”

Arda Güler

“He’s almost back. He will train harder next week. I don’t know if he will be ready for the last game of the year or in 2024.”

Aurélien Tchouaméni

“Tchouameni and Arda Güler are close to returning to training with the team.”

Vinícius & Eduardo Camavinga

“They will be back in 2024. When they return from vacation they will both be ready to train.”

Kepa Arrizabalaga

“Kepa is back, it’s good, we have two reliable goalkeepers, tomorrow I will choose one of the two. There is competition. Lunin has done very well, but it is a decision that I will make tomorrow.”
