Real Madrid handed positive injury update

Fans of La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week been afforded some positive news on the personnel front.

This comes by way of an update on the wellbeing of key midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

Frenchman Camavinga has for his part been sidelined since earlier this month, after suffering a knee injury during a training session ahead of the UEFA Super Cup.

After a round of medical tests, it was subsequently revealed that the 21-year-old had suffered ‘a sprain of the internal collateral ligament in his left knee’.

Camavinga, in turn, has been on the treatment table ever since.

All of a Real persuasion will therefore no doubt be interested to hear of an update on the wellbeing of the former Rennes man today coming to the fore.

And the news is of an altogether positive nature.

As per a report from Jorge C Picon of Relevo:

‘Camavinga is improving from his knee injury and is now running at a low intensity. It is hoped that after the (international) break he will be able to start playing with the ball.’
