Real Madrid handed injury boost before Celta Vigo

La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week been afforded some altogether positive news on the personnel front.

This comes amid confirmation that Dani Ceballos has enjoyed a full recovery from injury.

Midfielder Ceballos, for his part, has been sidelined since the beginning of last month.

After being forced into a premature departure from Real Madrid’s 2-0 La Liga downing of Real Betis, the former Arsenal man was subsequently diagnosed with ‘a grade III sprain with ligament damage to his right ankle’.

The last week had seen reports surface that Ceballos was inching towards a return, though, with his ankle quickly improving.

And, as alluded to above, on Tuesday, confirmation of the Spaniard’s total recovery has come to the fore.

As per Diario AS:

‘Ceballos is back: “100%”. He comes to act as an ‘October signing’ for Carlo Ancelotti.’

Ceballos, in turn, is expected to take his place in Real Madrid’s matchday squad for the club’s post-international break return to action against Celta Vigo this coming weekend.
