Real Madrid handed Brahim Díaz boost for Rayo Vallecano clash

Spanish giants Real Madrid have this afternoon been afforded a boost on the personnel front.

This comes by way of confirmation that midfielder Brahim Díaz will be available to feature in the club’s upcoming meeting with Rayo Vallecano.

Brahim, of course, set alarm bells ringing in Spain’s capital earlier this week.

After stepping into Real’s midfield in place of the sidelined Jude Bellingham for the club’s Champions League Last-16 first leg meeting with RB Leipzig, the former AC Milan man proved himself the hero, in netting the only goal of the game in spectacular fashion.

A short time later, however, he was forced into a premature departure from the action, with what appeared to be a muscular problem.

With the aforementioned Bellingham set to spend the next couple of weeks on the treatment table, as much came as a major source of concern for all associated with Los Blancos.

In turn, the latest news regarding Brahim’s wellbeing will no doubt be met with a collective sigh of relief on Thursday.

As confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, amongst other sources, a round of medical scans carried out earlier today revealed that Brahim has not suffered any form of injury.

The 24-year-old, as a result, will be available to feature against Rayo Vallecano in La Liga on Sunday.
