Real Madrid frontman Rodrygo has taken to social media to send a message of appreciation to Blancos legend Cristiano Ronaldo.
Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to Al Shabab for a King’s Cup clash.
When all was said and done, the former made short work of their hosts, to the tune of a 5-2 triumph.
And Ronaldo, for his part, was on target once again, continuing a scintillating recent spell of form courtesy of a trademark drilled finish into the far corner.
This saw the Portuguese veteran take his tally for the campaign to an eye-watering 20 goals.
Not only that, but it took Ronaldo’s career goalscoring count to a frankly ridiculous 870 goals.
And, as alluded to above, one fellow goalscorer who is evidently appreciative of such efforts on the part of CR7 comes in the form of Real Madrid talent Rodrygo.
Taking to his official X account tonight, Brazilian international Rodrygo reposted Ronaldo’s latest goalscoring milestone, tagging the 38-year-old, alongside a ‘goat’ emoji:
