Sections of the Real Madrid fanbase made use of the opportunity to take firm aim at arch rivals Barcelona on Wednesday evening.
This of course comes as Real prepare for an imminent return to action.
Los Blancos will kick their European campaign back into gear in short order, in a meeting with Premier League champions Manchester City.
The evening’s hosts boast the advantage as things stand, owing to a comeback 3-2 triumph at The Etihad last week.
Despite the importance of the task lying in wait for their side on Wednesday, though, the Real Madrid faithful have nevertheless felt it only right to aim a fresh dig at the aforementioned Barcelona.
Ahead of kick-off at the Santiago Bernabéu, groups of supporters were heard belting out chants of:
‘F**k Barca! F**K Barca!’ and ‘Whoever doesn’t jump is a f**king Indian!’
