Real Madrid fans highlight Jamie Vardy incident in fresh defence of Jude Bellingham

Supporters of Real Madrid have on Saturday highlighted a fresh incident in England, amid ongoing efforts to defend Jude Bellingham.

The name of midfielder Bellingham has of course dominated the headlines in Spain across the week to date.

This comes after the England international was hit with a two-match ban for a red card picked up in a La Liga meeting with Osasuna.

The justification provided by referee José Munuera was that Bellingham had said ‘f**k you’ in his direction.

The 21-year-old himself, however, was adamant that he in fact shouted ‘f**k off’, as an expression of frustration rather than a direct insult.

As much made little difference in Real Madrid’s appeal, with La Liga having stood by the call to slap Bellingham with a two-match suspension.

As alluded to above, though, this weekend, a similar incident in England has been widely highlighted by those of a Blancos persuasion.

The exchange in question came during a Premier League meeting between Leicester City and Brentford.

After seeing a decision go against him, Leicester striker Jamie Vardy was caught shouting ‘f**k off’ in the direction of the man in charge.

No punishment was dished out to the Englishman for as much, with Real Madrid’s fans, in turn, having highlighted the incident as something of a double standard when compared with that of Bellingham:
