Real Madrid do not plan to sign anyone in January despite Karim Benzema’s injury

Real Madrid are not planning to sign anyone in the January transfer window despite Karim Benzema’s injury, report Marca.

The Frenchman suffered an injury during training whilst away on international duty. The muscle rupture has forced him to be ruled out of the World Cup.

Despite the rumours circulating that Los Blancos are planning to find a replacement for Benzema, the club have indicated that they are not planning to look for a replacement in the January transfer window as Carlo Ancelotti has full confidence in his squad.

This comes after rumours emerging yesterday that Jorge Mendes has offered Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid if they manage to terminate his contract with Manchester United in the new year.

It is believed that while the European champions are not planning to sign anyone, they will be be tracking developments and movements on the market.

Real Madrid will most likely use Rodrygo as their centre-forward if Benzema does not recover in time for La Liga’s restart in January.
