La Liga giants Real Madrid have added a member of the midfield ranks at Premier League side Bournemouth to their transfer watchlist with a view to future windows.
This comes amid the understanding that Alex Scott has made his way onto the radar of those in a position of power at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Scott, for his part, is a 23-year-old central midfielder, who has long established himself as one of the standout engine room performers in his home country of England.
Such excellence was expected to give rise to a move to one of the Premier League’s heavy-hitters this past summer, but in the end, Scott stayed put on the south coast.
And as alluded to above, keeping a close eye on the situation throughout have been those in the boardroom at none other than Real Madrid. As per a report from Diario Sport, citing journalist Miguel Serrano:
‘Real Madrid are once again looking at the midfield. The white club are interested in Alex Scott, Bournemouth’s English midfielder. [He is] an option that appears on Madrid’s radar at a time when the midfield is still one of the great pending issues of José Mourinho’s squad.’
