Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez is growing increasingly disappointed with Carlo Ancelotti, for his treatment of youngster Arda Güler.
That’s according to Relevo, who have this weekend provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Madrid.
Midfielder Güler, for his part, is of course in the midst of something of a hit-and-miss opening to the new campaign.
Though he has enjoyed an uptick in game-time compared to his debut campaign, the 19-year-old is still evidently some way down the pecking order when it comes to the first-choice options of manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Murmurs, in turn, have even spread of late that Güler could seek out a mid-season exit, in a bid to secure a more prominent role elsewhere.
And, as alluded to above, one individual increasingly frustrated by this situation comes in the form of Florentino Pérez.
As per a report from Relevo, Real Madrid’s president, along with a number of other leading members of Los Blancos’ board, is of the opinion that Güler is deserving of considerably more playing time:
‘Nobody at the club understands how Güler can have so little prominence when he shines with his national team and, on top of that, every time he has come on he has offered an excellent performance.’
It now remains to be seen whether as much translates into an increase in game-time for the Turk moving forward…
