The powers that be at La Liga giants Real Madrid have forwarded something of a request to head coach Carlo Ancelotti, regarding his use of youngster Arda Güler.
That’s according to Marca, who have this weekend provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in the Spanish capital.
Midfielder Güler, for his part, is of course in the midst of something of a hit-and-miss opening to the new campaign.
Though he has enjoyed an uptick in game-time compared to his debut season, the 19-year-old is still evidently some way down the pecking order when it comes to the first-choice options of manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Murmurs, in turn, have even spread of late that Güler could seek out a mid-season exit, in a bid to secure a more prominent role elsewhere.
This, when all is said and done, looks altogether unlikely to come to fruition, with the Turkish international maintaining the blind faith of those across the board at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Figures who, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, have this week sprung into action…
As per a report from Marca:
‘The club are not asking Ancelotti to make Güler a starter, but they are asking him to give more minutes to a player who can give clarity to Madrid’s attack, connect with Kylian Mbappé and, in addition, score goals.’
