Real Madrid and Barcelona to play Champions League football next season

As reported by Madrid-based journalist Arancha Rodríguez, UEFA sent the Champions League invitation letter to the qualified teams for next year’s edition of the competition on Tuesday afternoon.

The document sent to the RFEF includes an invitation to Real Madrid and Barcelona, despite UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin’s threats insisting that both Spanish sides could be sanctioned and not play in the competition for having tried to create the European Super League.

According to the ANSA news agency, Juventus will also play in the 2021/22 edition of the Champions League.
