The brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid are giving serious consideration to a future move for a member of the defensive ranks at Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
This comes amid the understanding that Jarell Quansah has made his way firmly onto the radar of those in a position of power at the Santiago Bernabéu.
Quansah is currently away on international duty with England, and was recently afforded a starting berth for a Nations League meeting with Spain ahead of none other than Real Madrid star Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Los Blancos, meanwhile, were watching on all the while, amid a scouting mission first reported by German outlet BILD, and since cited by talkSPORT.
Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements at the back in Spain’s capital, owing to all of his age, versatility and abilities on both sides of the ball, Quansah has been earmarked as a favoured profile.
Real will continue to keep a watchful eye on the former Liverpool man throughout the season ahead, with a view to a potential big-money bid for his signature.
