Three important members of Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis squad linked back up with their teammates in Seville on Tuesday morning.
This comes amid ongoing preparations for the Verdiblancos’ return to action this weekend.
After an impressive opening to the campaign, culminating in a place in 3rd in the La Liga table with seven gameweeks in the books, Betis will kick their season back into gear in a meeting with Osasuna this coming Sunday.
Manuel Pellegrini and his staff have been forced to make do without a number of key players in the buildup to the clash, owing to a combination of international commitments and injury woes.
As alluded to above, though, on Tuesday, the situation at The Ciudad Deportiva Luis del Sol took a considerable turn for the better.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Real Betis resumed training with good news for Manuel Pellegrini: Marc Bartra, Troy Parrott and Ez Abde trained with the group in the first session of the week.’
Defender Bartra returns from a brief spell on the treatment table, whilst attacking pair Parrott and Ez have finished up their international commitments with the Republic of Ireland and Morocco respectively.
