A member of the defensive ranks at La Liga outfit Real Betis has on Wednesday provided a fresh insight into his future with the club.
The player in question? Natan Souza.
Stopper Natan has for his part played an important role for Real Betis across the season to date.
All told, across all competitions in 2024/25, the Brazilian has racked up 22 appearances, including 17 from the off.
With Natan having largely impressed along the way, calls have in turn long begun to mount for the Verdiblancos brass to make his arrival a permanent one.
The 24-year-old linked up with Manuel Pellegrini’s squad on loan from Serie A giants Napoli last summer.
And, if the latest comments on the part of the player himself are anything to go by, then he too would seemingly love nothing more than to continue at Betis beyond the close of the campaign.
Speaking to El Chiringuito TV on Wednesday, Natan admitted:
”I am happy and I want to stay.”
