Real Betis are willing to part ways with Borja Iglesias if the right offer comes in.
In December it was reported that Atlético Madrid are interested in the prospect of signing the 29-year-old if João Félix departs the club.
In an interview that appeared on Mundo Deportivo, club president Ángel Haro discussed the possibility of Iglesias moving to the Estadio Metropolitano:
“I have a magnificent relationship with Atlético Madrid, but there has not yet been a formal approach because they are awaiting movements. If that moment arrives, we will sit down and talk, but we always take into account the player as well.”
“He is a striker performing really well. This type of decision has to be well thought through and there has to be total consensus in all departments of the club,” he added.
Atlético Madrid may be knocking on Real Betis’ door soon as Los Colchoneros have reached an agreement to loan out Félix to Chelsea.
