Real Betis eye Barcelona pair Pedri and Riqui Puig

Real Betis are interested in signing Barcelona pair Pedri and Riqui Puig on loan, according to Estadio Deportivo.

The Andalusian club currently have midfielder Carles Aleñá on loan from Barcelona. Aleñá has become an integral part of Rubi’s side since making the move south, featuring in every match except for Betis’ home win over Real Madrid in March.

Pedri, who is tipped to become a star at Camp Nou, has spent the 2019-20 campaign on loan at Las Palmas, meanwhile Riqui Puig has made two league appearances for Barcelona this season.

Speaking in an interview with El Larguero on Thursday, Barça head coach Quique Setién discussed 20-year-old Puig. “Riqui is a great footballer, but he needs time.”
