Real Betis defender Juan Miranda agrees personal terms with AC Milan

As reported by journalist Matteo Moretto, AC Milan have now reached an agreement over personal terms with Real Betis defender Juan Miranda, who is set to join the club in 2024.

The player will put pen to paper on a deal that will commit him to the Italian club until 2028. Milan will offer around €2m to Real Betis to agree the deal in January, as the player’s contract expires in June, meaning he can negotiate with clubs during the winter transfer window.

The Andalusians decided to cash in now on the player to avoid losing him for nothing next summer, while the Rossoneri accelerated their move for the left-back after Napoli declared their interest in the player.

Spanish giants Barcelona will be monitoring the current situation as they have a 50% sell-on clause for Miranda, meaning they will earn half of the transfer fee that Betis receive. Betis are negotiating with Milan so that the signing can be completed in January.

Despite some differences in terms of valuation, there is growing optimism that an agreement can be reached between the clubs.
