La Liga outfit Real Betis have this week been dealt yet another blow on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Pablo Fornals has picked up a muscular problem, all but ruling the Spaniard out of the club’s post-international break return to action this weekend.
Manuel Pellegrini’s midfield, for those not aware, has been absolutely ravaged by injuries over recent weeks.
With Isco and William Carvalho already ruled out long-term, and Giovani Lo Celso struggling to maintain full fitness, both Marc Roca and Johnny Cardoso were then condemned to incoming spells on the sidelines, too.
Safe to say, then, that yet another blow was the last thing which Betis needed, ahead of their upcoming meeting with Valencia on Saturday.
As alluded to above, though, on Thursday, precisely as much has been confirmed.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo:
‘Pablo Fornals was unable to train with the rest of his teammates on Thursday due to discomfort he suffered in training on Wednesday and is practically ruled out for Saturday’s match against Valencia at Mestalla.’
