Real Betis could be without the services of summer signing Giovani Lo Celso for the club’s post-international break return to action.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Lo Celso’s international commitments as being behind as much.
The midfield is currently away with Lionel Scaloni’s Argentina squad, and played his part in a 1-1 draw with Venezuela on Thursday night.
The Albiceleste’s next fixture, however, does not take place until next Wednesday, when they will welcome Bolivia to Buenos Aires for another World Cup qualifier.
As per the aforementioned MD, as much means that Lo Celso would likely not touch back down in Spain until Thursday.
This would leave the former Tottenham Hotspur star with just a solitary training session with his Real Betis teammates, before the club’s La Liga meeting with Osasuna on Saturday.
A player with a history of injury problems, it is therefore considered a real possibility that Lo Celso will play no part in Pamplona.
