As reported by Relevo‘s Matteo Moretto, Real Betis are in negotiations with Arsenal over the signing of Héctor Bellerín.
The Spaniard spent the past season on loan at the Sevillian side, where he made 32 appearances in all competitions. He played five games in Betis’ Copa del Rey campaign, which the side eventually won by defeating Valencia on penalties in the final.
Bellerín is contracted to play for Arsenal until 2023, but the 27-year-old has expressed his desire to stay at Los Verdiblancos.
Due to budgetary constraints, Betis are trying to negotiate the lowest price possible to acquire the services of the Spanish right-back.
Bellerín is currently on a contract worth €4 million a year, which could prove to be problematic for the completion of the transfer.
Relevo also report that Betis might face competition from other clubs as they are not the only side interested in signing him.
It was communicated yesterday that Betis are also in negotiations with Nottingham Forest over the potential sale of William Carvalho.
