Raphinha sends message to Real Madrid ahead of El Clásico

Raphinha will play his first Clásico against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday. Speaking to Movistar Plus at a media day on Thursday, the Brazilian winger did not hold back.

“We are leaders. If there’s any team that should watch out, it’s them,” he said in quotes reported by Mundo Deportivo.

“We are confident in the league. We know what we have to do to win and we hope to come back with the victory,” said the Barcelona winger.

Barcelona head into the fixture top of the La Liga table and will hope to return to winning ways after their 3-3 draw with Inter on Wednesday.

Madrid drew 1-1 away to Shakhtar Donetsk during the week to progress to the last 16 of the Champions League.

Los Blancos could be without goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois for the first Clásico of the season at the Santiago Bernabéu on Sunday 16 October.
