Barcelona star Raphinha has taken to social media on Saturday evening, to send a message of appreciation the way of teammate and fellow countryman Gabriel Jesus.
This comes after the latter stepped in for Raphinha to fine effect in the Blaugrana’s latest outing.
Hansi Flick’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming Getafe to the Spotify Camp Nou for a La Liga clash. With captain and top scorer Raphinha unavailable through injury, summer signing Gabriel Jesus was chosen to replace the former Leeds United man as Barca’s attacking spearhead.
And the 29-year-old responded with a solid showing, netting a brilliant individual goal to put the reigning Spanish champions two goals to the good en route to a 3-0 triumph.
Post-match, Jesus therefore posted on Instagram, to celebrate his goal and Barcelona’s latest three-point haul. And quick to respond was none other than Raphinha, who took to the comments section to write:
