Barcelona star Raphinha has on Tuesday evening moved to reveal his appreciation for young teammate Lamine Yamal.
This comes after the Spanish international’s return to starting duties in Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with RCD Mallorca.
Hansi Flick’s troops are fresh off a resounding bounce-back victory, bringing to an end a run of just one point from an available nine courtesy of a 5-1 triumph at Son Moix.
Raphinha secured for himself Man of the Match honours post-match, after notching a brace to put the visitors back in control early in the 2nd-half.
As alluded to above, though, on the back of the full-time whistle, Barca’s wing wizard was keen to shift focus onto one of his attacking partners-in-crime.
Lamine Yamal for his part returned to Hansi Flick’s XI on Tuesday, following a four-game absence owing to an ankle injury.
And the 17-year-old went on to provide a timely reminder of his frankly immeasurable importance to the Blaugrana’s attacking setup.
Winning a penalty, laying on a sumptuous trivela assist, and opening up Mallorca’s backline en route to another of the Catalans’ goals, Lamine was in irresistible form at Son Moix.
Speaking to the media a short time ago, teammate Raphinha was therefore quick to praise the youngster, adamant that:
“When Lamine Yamal is on the pitch, he makes the difference for us.”
