Former Real Madrid defender Raphaël Varane has on Tuesday sent a message of encouragement the way of his one-time club.
This of course comes ahead of Los Blancos’ return to action on the continent later this evening.
Real Madrid are primed to kick their Champions League campaign back into gear in short order, having made the trip to north London for a quarter-final first-leg showdown with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal.
And in efforts to secure an advantage to take back to Spain’s capital for next week’s return leg, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops have the full support of an ex-member of the club’s backline.
Taking to his official Instagram account, the aforementioned Raphaël Varane unveiled a photo of himself on a train, joined by a group of Real Madrid fans en route to The Emirates.
And the Frenchman made clear his ongoing support of Los Blancos, in adding the caption:
‘Sent from London… Hala Madrid!!’
