PSG unlikely to make a move for João Félix this January

PSG are not planning to make a move for Atlético Madrid’s João Félix this January, reports Fabrizio Romano.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Estadio Metropolitano for the past couple of months after falling out with Diego Simeone.

Several of Europe’s elites clubs, including PSG, have shown interest in taking Félix off Los Colchoneros’ hands.

However, it appears as though the Parisian side are not planning to submit an offer for the Portuguese player this winter and they never opened concrete talks with Atlético Madrid either.

Félix arrived to the Spanish capital from Benfica in 2019 for a club record fee of €127m, but he was never able to fulfill expectations. Earlier this month it was communicated that Atlético Madrid have put a €100m price tag on Félix, and it seems very unlikely that the club would want to lower this given that this January will be their first attempt to sell the striker.
