PSG talisman Mbappé fires warning shot to Barcelona

Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappé has on Sunday sent something of a warning message to Barcelona.

As much, of course, comes ahead of the impending showdown between the two clubs.

On Wednesday night, PSG will welcome the reigning Spanish champions to the Parc des Princes, for the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie.

The matchup marks a fascinating one for a whole host of reasons, from Luis Enrique’s Barcelona past to the Blaugrana’s famous PSG comeback and more.

Also worth taking note of on Wednesday, though, will be the aforementioned Kylian Mbappé facing off against his soon-to-be biggest rivals.

The Frenchman is of course primed to link up with Real Madrid this summer, with all of a Blancos persuasion no doubt eager for Mbappé to make his presence very much felt against Barca this coming week.

And, if the latest comments on the part of the explosive attacker himself are anything to go by, it would appear that making a telling impact is precisely what Mbappé has in mind.

Speaking in an interview with Telefoot this weekend, PSG’s star man was drawn on his intentions in Paris in three days’ time.

And, in his response, Mbappé fired a warning shot to Xavi’s Barcelona:

“The time has come for the great players and I am prepared for it. As usual, I’m not going to hide.”
